"The Tableau is a story about love and relationships in their various forms. It involves 3 main characters, one being Tristan, a recovering drug addict who is on a destructive path and is learning what it means to love and accept himself. The other main characters are Jason and Jennifer who are a couple who fall in love and face ups and downs in their relationship.
The dancers in the Tableau are evoking the emotion each character goes through in their journey to self-love or romantic love. They go through moments of dark and light in their journey to becoming better versions of themselves individually and in their romantic relationships.
The Tableau tackles the themes and emotions of desire, love, empathy, self-sabotage, self-love, nostalgia, temptation, addiction, and cleansing challenges inside ourselves. Becoming the purest versions of ourselves. It is shedding light on the evolution that humans go through as they get into relationships and battle their inner demons. The Tableau is also a reminder of how life at its different stages presents us with light and dark moments that we must overcome and enjoy. It is capturing what individuals face in their pursuit of peace, happiness, romance and self-love."
Sara collaborated with the DJ and producer Fluence on the track “Before you were mine” which was released in 2002. Fluencee’s genre-bending take on future bass and trap music was a beautiful mix with the sultry pop sound Sara added to the record.
Sara composed and wrote the theme song for IAWF foundation. The mission of the Iranian American Women Foundation is to provide a platform for empowerment and networking among Iranian American women and to provide mentorship to younger generations of Iranians locally and globally. The song was created to uplift and empower women at the conferences to achieve their highest goals.
