The Artist
Sara Parvaneh Bard is a California based producer, songwriter, performer, and artist. Her love for music started at the age of 5 where she began taking piano classes. Sara received her Bachelor’s degree in Communication studies from Concordia University in Irvine, CA where she realized she had a passion for communicating through her favorite art form, music. She then moved to Los Angeles to study songwriting and production at Garnish Music production school where she learned from seasoned musicians and veterans in the industry and became certified in songwriting and production . Through her connections made there she got the opportunity to write for Rostrum Records music library where she was able to get many of her songs published. She also released her first music project “Tableau '' under the artist name Parvané in 2021. She was then awarded a scholarship to study in France with “Leslie Brathwaite, a Grammy award winning mixing engineer with “Mix with the Masters'' who mixes for prominent artists like Beyoncé, Pharell Williams, and Cardi B where she spent a week learning from the best in the industry. She was also interviewed by NPR about her love for Jazz music and featured on their instagram’s Jazz series where she spoke about Nina Simone’s influence on the industry. She recently worked with the producer Fluencee where her song “Before you were Mine'' was released through “Circus Records''.
She also received her Master’s in Songwriting from Berklee school of music where she mastered the art of songwriting, lyricism, and artist development. She studied and took vocal lessons with Lydia Mouton who is a skilled and seasoned Gospel singer and artist based in Los angeles. She also had the pleasure of learning from Seth Riggs who worked with artists such as Michael Jackson and Prince. She is passionate about helping young artists reach their fullest potential and improving their skills to become well-rounded artists. She has been teaching children and young adults for over 5 years working on piano, songwriting, singing, and artist development and loves the process.
